Ben's visit to Haiti! Jan. 24 - 27, 2011

Some of you may be wondering why I've been so late in updating the blog. Well, we haven't had electricity to the house in over three months. We did have a generator that would run our washing mashine, and when it was on we could power up the computer. but that was only for a few hours, and not every day; then the computer was running off of battery. So,  computer time has been very limited.

But this week Ben was able to come down for three days ,and thankfully he was able to fix our inverter and generator, so now we have a fridge (which we haven't had for almost 4 months).

He loves the water, but he also likes to drink the water
which makes him sick!

 
  

Alayna is trying to teach Jason how to walk.
He is not sure about it, but he will do anything to get food! 





Ben loved playing with the children and helping care for
them while he was here. They all loved him too,
especially Jason!!



We had a great time with Ben! We even were able to go swimming!
We wish that he could have stayed longer.
Maybe next time :-)
We are grateful that he took the time to come down
and get things fixed around here for us.
